The Magnix My Morning Jacket Live Recordings Archive Volume 5b (MMMJLRA05b) My Morning Jacket "2 Meter Sessies", Byton Studios, Loosdrecht, The Netherlands April 5, 2000 Source: FM > ? > CD-R > CD-R Lineage: CD-R > EAC? > CoolEditPro/CDWave > CD-R > EAC > FLAC level 8 Taper: unknown Transfered by: Magnix Total running time: 29m16s 1. Old September Blues 2. Picture Of You 3. I Will Be There When You Die/Sunrides And The Girls Scream 4. Lil Billy 5. The Bear 6. I Think I'm Going To Hell Six out of the 12 tracks My Morning Jacket recorded for this Dutch Kink FM radio session. Got this on CD-R somewhere early 2002. The exact source however is unknown. It sounds as if it has been taken from at least two different broadcasts. I also think that the running order has been changed, as tracks 1, and 4-6 have been broadcast in that running order on November 19, 2000. And when you listen to the end of track 1 and the start of track 4 you will hear the ending of track 1 continue into the intro of track 4. See also MMMJLRA05a. However, because the sound quality of this disc is really great, I made it available here. Soon after I got the disc, I ripped it (not sure if I used EAC then), and did some fades at the start and end of the tracks, as well as some normalizing, because there was quite a difference in volume between tracks 1-3 and 4-6. I then burned a new copy, which was recently ripped and those files are presented here. So, this recording has gone through some generations of ripping and burning and who knows what else, but as said, it's a great recording! Furthermore, as this is volume 5b of the Magnix My Morning Jacket Live Recordings Archive, there is (of course) also a volume 5a! I also have a cassette of the November 19, 2000 broadcast of this session (including tracks 1, 4-6) of which the generation is known. So, I decided to make both versions available. It's up to everyone's own choice what to pick. Used software: CoolEditPro, CD Wave, EAC, and FLAC v1.1.2 as build in Traders Little Helper v1.1.1 (build 90).
